Note to Competitors (part 2): I get that it sucks to lose. Or not place top 3. Or top 5. Or top 15. Whatever. I understand that we compete to win. But there can only be one winner. Thats life. I cant stand when competitors use social media to publicize their prep for show and get followers invested in their journey, all the way up to show time. Then..... Crickets. Nothing. Then I see anxious friends/followers posting So how did you do? Ive been waiting all night to hear! Nada. No response. Guess what? You suck. Not because you lost. But because you are obviously a sore loser. You enticed and allowed many people to get invested in your journey. You welcomed all their positive vibes, well wishes and good luck posts, and then..... left them hanging. The ironic part about it is that none of those people you quickly shut out would have thought less of you for not winning. No, in fact, they would have likely all continued to build you up and tell you that youre amazing and an inspiration. You just let them all down by behaving like a spoiled child & a sour tool. So. Next time, either keep your journey silent, or realize that you owe it to all the folks who invested in you to at least give them the outcome. IF they care to stick around for your next time.
