November 11th, today I am thankful for my life, and if someone was looking into my life, they would probably think my life is not perfect by any stretch of the imagination. And they would be right; but for me it I couldnt ask for a more perfect life that what I have now. There are a lot of things in my life that I have to be thankful for; and some of these things may seem like repeats of other posts that I have put out here this month, but this is what makes my life perfect. First and foremost my family and I have God in our life, and even though I fail him every day; I am perfect in his eyes and I am forgiven each and every day for my sins. I have a wonderful lady in my life, my wife, who is perfect for me; oh sure there are times when she tries to boss me around and tell me what I need to do, but again as I have mentioned, she always supports the decisions that I make and she is what keeps me perfectly balanced. My children have been such an asset to my life, I do not know where I would be without them, they have brought so much joy into my life as well as pain, not too much pain, and if you are a parent you know what I mean by that; they keep me young “at heart”; without them I would be a different man today. I am thankful for the friends that I have in my life, who are a constant joy to me; and when we all get together, there is so much laughter and fun that we have together; I am thankful for my health, I may not be in the best shape of my life, but I am constantly working on staying in shape and staying healthy, it is a chore to get up every morning and to drive an hour, so I can do a run for an hour or so; or try to break a personal record; but in the end it will be worthwhile; I have a wonderful home that I go to each and every day; I have a job that pays the bills and allows me to do things, and most of all, I have the knowledge that one day I will be with our Savior in Heaven for eternity; that this life that I am currently in is just the beginning. There are many other reasons why I am thankful for my life, but I hope that at least this touches on some of those things. :)
