Ok, I got this thing from HSN/QVC to slice, make chips i.e. sweet potato, white potato, cucumber, etc). Well, the principal is a good idea. But I am in a learning curve. I got the peeling and using the slicer of stuff down pat. And figured out how to stick them in the thing so they stand up and then you put them in the microwave and you get chips. Ok, have not figured out how long to leave them in microwave, burnt some, some did not come out crisp (kinda droopy) LOL; It did not come with inst. on how long to microwave them. Ok, so now I have some more sweet potato chips drying on a towel and will try more later. What I didnt burn turned out crisp and ok, but one would appreciate a time table with this gadget. Might be cheaper, time wise to go buy the chips with all the bad stuff already on them. LOL
