Ok so I dont rant very often but I just have to get some stuff off my chest....iv spent the last 25 years of my life putting my heart and soul into this horse business and it sucks that such a large percentage of people are back stabbing two faced selfish liars. They tell you what they think you want to hear and they constantly want everything for nothing they have no respect or appreciation for what it takes financially, physically or emotionally to run a boarding/training facility. I wish they could spend a month in my shoes and see what it cost to keep things running. They seem to think you make so much money huh I wish! And when they are done with you or think they have found something better they will drop you faster then you can blink. Then theres the people that wanna come in and use my facility for next to nothing! If you want 40 acres with 2 indoors and rings with footing and jumps and nice stalls wash stalls a bathroom etc etc then be my guest go out and buy it all yourself then see how YOU feel when I wanna come use it all and pay you next to nothing!! Im running a business and the goal of most businesses is to make money. Yes I love what I do but its not a hobby...I need to pay bills/taxes im trying to raise my son with no financial help and put food on the table and yes it would be nice to save some money. Sorry I just REALLY needed to vent.....ahhh so deep breath and on I go....its another beautiful day about to start..
