On Monday, I Went To Narok For Work. When We Got To Suswa, An Old Man Boarded The Matatu And Sat Next To Me. I was On My Phone Going Through My Emails. He Then Asked Me Whether I Could Read The Newspaper From The Phone. I Told Him That I Could. He Then Asked Me About The Kapedo Situation. I Updated Him With What I Had Read On The Newspaper. He Started Talking About How Phones Had Made Life Easy. He Then Told Me That Someone From Mombasa Mistakenly Sent Him Cash. Ksh. 20,000 In Total. After That Guy Realized His Error, He Called Him And Requested That He Reverts The Money. The Old Man Said That He Was Really Broke, So He Told The Guy That He Would Send The Money Back, Less Ksh. 2000. The Guy From Mombasa Pleaded With Him And Begged That He Sends The Whole Amount Back To Him. The Old Man Finally Agreed. Now Maybe Most People Are Thinking That Was A Dumb Decision. I Asked This Man Why He Felt That He Should Return The Money. He Said That As Much As We All Need The Cash, Sometimes, Money Does Not Solve All Problems, Which Includes The Ability To Have A Clean Conscience. The Old Man Then Smiled And Told Me That The Guy From Mombasa Send Him Ksh.5000 As A Thank You!!! Advantage For The Old Man: A Deserved Clean Conscience And Ksh. 5000 Richer. #WiseChoises #LessonsOnTheRoad #DailyLearning
