Please click "like" and "share" to spread the word! We are hosting a Pelatonia fundraising event at Appletree Auction Center, Friday, 8/2/13 at 630 pm. Tickets are $50 for couples, $30 singles and $15 children. Free food and beverages have been donated, as well as the entertainment, so all proceeds will go directly to Pelatonia for cancer rersearch. The event Friday night will include a visit from the Columbus Zoo and Guest Speaker: Tom Schmittgen, who is a cancer reseacher for The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy, and a live auction of items donated by local businesses. Many in our community know the Schnaidt family, owners of Apple Tree Auction Center. David has been battling cancer with hopes of full recovery, however on Tuesday he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Spinal Cancer that is inoperable. Most of you know I had an accident training to ride in the Pelatonia, but I still plan to be a virtual rider and need to raise $1200. We would like people to come out to Granville Chamber of Commerce Friday, 8/9/13 afternoon and 8/10/13, Saturday, morning to write chaulk messages to the riders. We will be selling bottled water, candy and peanuts and green ribbons that people can write a name of a loved one who has or is battling cancer for a small donation at the Granville Farmers Market this weekend and in front of Tickle Berry Moon on Saturday, August 10 for donation.
