Please share. Latest post as of Dec. 27 To everyone near and far: As we have tried to do from the first day of creating this page, we are continuing to post the latest updates and information in the search and efforts being made by everyone. We would like to take this opportunity to say, even though we did not get the Christmas miracle we were hoping and praying for, we will never give up on bringing my dear, sweet cousin Rhonda home. Unfortunately, we do not have any new news to share at this time. However, Rhondas case is still being worked on by different agencies, as we are still working with media, groups, organizations, etc. to get Rhondas story shared all around the world. We would like to thank everyone for their continued prayers, love and the support that is being shown to Rhondas family and we ask that you please, continue to pray, share post, pictures, etc. We would like to also clarify some information as well. Rhondas family is extremely grateful for the outpouring love and support that has been shown to them. They appreciate any and all efforts that have been made to help bring Rhonda home. However, they would like to ask everyone to please use all of your efforts in the search and spreading the word about Rhondas story. They would like to not have any fund raisers because their goal is to stay focused on the search. The family is grateful and appreciate anyone wanting to help. But, the help is needed in the search and spreading the word about Rhondas story hoping the right person will see it. Search for Rhonda Kitts Daugherty hasnt had fundraisers, but we have shared the information and created an event page for two that was taking place and all funds were going to be added to the reward fund at the Campbell County Sheriffs Dept. has. Since we have learned the family doesnt wish to have any money raised, we are assisting in getting these funds returned. Today, a fishing tournament was held. All money was returned to anyone who paid to participate in this event. For the coon hunting event, they are in the process of getting all entry fees returned. All efforts made were with good intentions, only hoping to help in finding Rhonda and those efforts are greatly appreciated. However, we ask that everyone please honor Rhondas families request and do not have any fund raisers. Bows are still available for free at Sisters in LaFollette. Below we will share the familys statement and also we would like to include a message from Ralph Terry who organized the fishing tournament. We will continue to post any information as soon as we can to keep everyone up to date. Once again, we would like to say a sincere thank you and to ask for your continued support through prayers and sharing this information. Because, someone, somewhere, knows the answers to Rhondas disappearance. Stated from Ralph Terry organizer of the fishing tournament: We had a huge turnout, we had prayer and refunded the entry fee to everyone as requested by the family. Post from The Polygraph News Yesterday at 6:51pm · This just in from WLAF in Lafollette. Family says no money needed; just searchers The family of Rhonda Kitts Daugherty wants to say a big thank you to everyone who has been praying and searching for their loved one. They also wanted to let everyone know that they don’t want or need money, but rather people to continue searching and praying for Rhonda. “Everyone has been so wonderful through all this and we appreciate it so much; but we don’t need money raised, we just need people to search and keep praying until she is found,” said Rhonda’s mother Nancy Kitts. The family also wanted to clarify that there are currently several outdoor “tournaments” taking place to raise funds and that the family is not associated with these events. A fishing tournament and a coon hunting tournament have both been organized. “We would like the tournaments to be stopped because we have not asked anyone to do anything to raise any money – we just want people to search for Rhonda. It’s not that we don’t deeply appreciate what everyone is doing and trying to do; but we really don’t need money; just Rhonda.” (12/26/2014 - 2:00 PM) Once again, I would like to personally give a sencere thanks to everyone who has assisted in any way with helping bring Rhonda home. #searchforrhondakittsdaughtery Sincerely, Scott Kitts
