Position: Purchase Executive (Capsule Division) 2. Qualifications and Experience: • Graduation in any stream. Technical qualification (B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering) is preferred. • Experience of around 5-7 years in Purchase department in a medium size manufacturing unit having turnover between 15 to 100 crores in purchasing of Pharma raw materials packaging material, consumables & Engg items. • Should also have exposure to purchase of Chemicals, development for packaging materials, precision machine component job work, plastic molded items, etc. Experience in importing the goods is preferred. • We will consider a technical person who wants to move into purchasing. 3. Reporting: • The candidate will report to Production Manager/Commercial Manager. 4. Key deliverables: • Should ensure timely delivery of goods, no stock outs, cost control & alternate vendors development will be the prime responsibility. • Should ensure timely and accurate compliance to statutory and legal requirements. • Should have good business acumen for vendor selection, timeliness, accuracy and prompt response to emerging business needs. Should comply with laid down systems and be clear in communication both written & verbal. • He should be able to demonstrate his ability to think creatively to deliver the required results. 5. Job Location: • The Job location is at Boisar plant. • Boisar is 85 Kilometers from Mumbai and it takes 1.5 hrs. by train from Borivali Station or by road via Western Express Highway. • Western Railway is planning to start local trains beyond Virar up to Dahanu. Local trains with Mumbai will then connect Boisar. This service is expected to be operational in next one year. • Company has Guesthouse with a cook for officers. 6. Compensation: • The compensation will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the candidate. 7.
