Regarding My Book Signings: So lots of you are leaving comments on my new vlog saying how its disgusting or ridiculous that to meet me at my book signings, you have to purchase another book. I can TOTALLY see why you think it is and Ive tried EVERYTHING I possible can to change this trust me!! Let me explain a thing or two: When it comes to things like my book, book signings, meet ups etc we as youtubers have 0 control of how things work! We will ALWAYS try our best to make YOUR experience the best it can possibly be e.g my london excel book signing. BUT when it comes to working with companies such as WHSmiths who im currently working with on my Birmingham & Manchester book signings, I have NO control. Ive told them times and times again that I dont want you guys to have to order another book to meet me, but after my london book signing where 8,500 of you came, things like that cant happen any more and each event has to be ticketed. For me to close the ENTIRE WHSmiths store and have security, barriers, all the members of staff still working etc, I have to guarantee them book sales. That is why you have to buy another copy of the book! I dont get paid to do a book signing, I get nothing at all except the amazing opportunity to meet 1000s of YOU and THAT is why I do it!! Now again Im so sorry that you have to purchase a copy of the book to meet me, but Ive tried all I can to change this, but as we have to close the shop in order for the signing to happen and the store has to have members of staff and security teams working, they have to make money to pay for that. Again I apologise, but there is literally nothing I can do :( All my comments are filled with hate saying how horrible it is that im making people buy another book, but this ISNT my choice. Thanks for reading guys, I hope you now understand a little more about the situation
