Remember when the Wii came out, and everybody got really excited about motion tracking, and then you actually played one, and it was a massive disappointment? That same cheap old tech is inside almost every fitness tracker on the market. I wish fitness tracker meant more than just an accelerometer. Ive used several devices that claim to be fitness trackers (Fitbit, UP24, various smartphone apps), but the lame guesswork based on just accelerometer data is a crock. Sure, this watch looks nice, but you should really do more than guess at motion with an accelerometer for that price.
