SEMINARIES, NURSERIES OF TERRORISM. Unless there is a serious thinking of dealing with islamic seminaries with an iron hand, our ability to get rid of this demon of terrorism will remain subjected to serious doubts. These seminaries are the very nursaries where the young are recruited, taught islamic subjects like Quran, Sunnah and jurisprudence as sharia. They are brainwashed into true saviours and warriors of Islam who have to act as vigilantes and wage jihad against both domestic and external enemies of Islam. If we are truely sincere with our claim to end both extremism and terrorism from our society, then we will have to cut across the very roots of this evil which are seminaries, a breeding ground where religious extremists and terrorists are borne, scatter all around and lay siege to us. Sooner we deal with this phenomenon, better for our survival as a group. Without taking stern action against seminaries, the war on terror will remain meaningless.
