Proverbs 14:31 Whoever oppresses a poor man insults his Maker, but he who is generous to the needy honors him. Luke 12:33-34 Sell your possessions, and give to the needy. Provide yourselves with moneybags that do not grow old, with a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Proverbs 28:27 Whoever gives to the poor will not want, but he who hides his eyes will get many a curse. Psalm 82:4 Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.” Mark 12:31 The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” Matthew 6:24 “No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money. (Nor can you serve nationalism over God.)
