So, Im rereading the Twilight series. The first time I read them, was when proofreading for my daughter, so that I knew what she was reading. I admit; I wasnt very focused on the deeper, between the lines subjects. Now that I am, plus reading them in English, I see stuff in the story that I find annoying, to say the least. Both in the personalities of Bella and Edward, and in their interactions with each other (and Bella with her friends). I constantly compare them to the Fifty Shades couple, and honestly, E. L. James has them spot on. With all the annoying writing down the female main characters and all. I WILL, however, read the books through, because I find the importance in knowing what I read and reading critically, more important than jumping off to the next entertaining book on my shelf. Also... I admit to loving crappy love stories, so my next book would probably be somewhat in the same genre anyway.
