So finally, of what was recovered from the destruction of my mothers home. Was a pair of US Army Issue, Vintage Viet-Nam Combat Boots. Accuired from my Supply Sgt. who traded me my army issue Steel Toed boots for them. The boots once belonged to the Battalion commander who retired from the Army. They had been in the old pole barn for over 10 years. I am truely amazed that the Leather is still in good shape.
