Sunday afternoon at the Couth Buzzard bookstore on Greenwood Ave; they have an ad hoc jazz ensemble who alternate between sounding exceptionally tight and sounding something like Sun Ras Arkestra as players come and go. The beer selection isnt bad either, but the oatmeal stout is somewhere around 8% so I was a little shit-housed after my pint. Scored in the stacks though, Selected Poems, William Carlos Williams. And, counter to what one might imagine, it was NOT choked with hipsters.
