THE VIRTUES OF CRUCIFIXION, HUMILITY, THANKSGIVING AND THE CERTAINTY OF GODS JUDGMENT IN CHRIST JESUS!!! But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. Galatians 6:14 ESV I do not need to boast except in what the Cross that Jesus Christ died on and the total experience of His Crucifixion means and has achieved for me in my life! Crucially, that I have been crucified to the world and vice-versa! Lord Help me to reject every worldly/fleshly temptation to the very end in Jesus Name. Amen!!! And when I came to you, brethren, I did not come with superiority of speech or of wisdom, proclaiming to you the testimony of God. For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. 1 Corinthians 2:1,2 NASB The servant of the Lord must not be prideful nor arrogant! Feeling that you are superior to others because you feel so Blessed is not from God; especially in talking about and or testifying/witnessing to the truth of the Gospel in spirit and in truth with the Help of Jesus Christs Holy Spirit! Essentially, the goal is to know Christ Jesus, Him Crucified; and the Power of His Resurrection! Lord please Keep me free from pride and arrogance in the discharge of my Christian duties and my walk with Jesus Christ. Amen!! What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? Or dont you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. Romans 6:1-4 NIV Yes, we are supposedly under Grace and need more Grace for our walk with the Lord and in the Lord! We received much Grace after we received forgiveness for our sins! Is therefore this potential for increased Grace in our lives a license to sin? Is the freedom that comes with coming into Jesus Christ our license to sin? Can we continue in sin and expect Gods Grace to continue to increase in our lives under our self proclaimed unconditional love of Jesus Christ? Hmmmm! Be very careful what and how you believe folks! The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ for us really ought to mean a baptism into His death (our death to the flesh/sin) and our being called to live a new life in Jesus Christ. Help us o Lord to live for Jesus Christ. Amen!!! But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work. 2 Thessalonians 2:13-17 KJV When you minister Jesus Christ and the reconciliation that attends this ministry unto people, you must remember to keep them uplifted in prayer with thanksgiving for them too! Where possible, it is good to maintain some form of communication with them both in spirit and in the physical; to keep encouraging them to stand fast in the Word of God and in the traditions taught them in Jesus Name. Also, pray that they may continually be established in faith that works through love via every good work. This is pleasing to God and beneficial to man (including you the messenger)! O Jesus, please Help us to do right by You in Jesus Name. Amen!!! (15) to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him. (16) These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage. (17) But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: (18) how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. (19) These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit. Jude 1:15-19 The above Scripture reminds of of the certainty of Gods judgement coming upon all sin and ungodliness committed and spoken against the Lord, His Word and His Holy Spirit! Grumbling, complaining whilst walking lustfully in sin is condemned and we are urged not to engage in such or other evil. We who believe are neither to use flattery to gain advantage, nor mockery and divisiveness with the promotion of sensuality, which leads people astray and evidences a lack of the Holy Spirit! Father, please Keep us safe from the ways of this world and flesh; that we may serve You as righteousness requires in Spirit and in Truth in Jesus Name. Amen!!!
