TRINITY IS NOT FOLLOWING JESUS OR GOD! Encyclopedia Britannica says, Neither the word Trinity nor the explicit doctrine appears in the New Testament, nor did Jesus and his followers intend to contradict the Shema in the Hebrew Scriptures: “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord” (Deuteronomy 6:4)... The doctrine developed gradually over several centuries and through many controversies. Initially, both the requirements of monotheism inherited from the Hebrew Scriptures and the implications of the need to interpret the biblical teaching to Greco-Roman religions seemed to demand that the divine in Christ as the Word, or Logos, be interpreted as subordinate to the Supreme Being... It was not until the 4th century that the distinctness of the three and their unity were brought together in a single orthodox doctrine of one essence and three persons. The Trinity as a doctrine was sealed only after 325 and they chose the 4 gospels out of 300+. All books (and people) who disagreed were burned. Beyond that the authenticity is questionable at best if not outright forgeries in some areas and other verses are maybe right and so on! Have you ever heard of the mysterious Q that is the missing link since in the gospels you have a third person account of events where it many times says And Jesus sat with Matt and said and they have no idea who is narrating the story, who orated it to the next person and who actually wrote it down... this is historical fact. In Collins’ R.S.V. 1971 (p. 12-17) they list the authors of each book of the Bible and nearly every one is Unknown, Probably and Doubtful which is not acceptable for authenticity and therefor to trust your after life on! So Christianity did not have a set doctrine until the 4th century, after the conversion of Constantine and the many councils such as Nicaea in 325 and many up until the 6th century and so on. Historically we see that God sent prophets whenever the people after the last prophet went astray from the religion. The new prophet would call to the same religion (Gods religion) as the last prophet but return the people to correct belief. It is worth noting that this is when Muhammad (s) was born (in the late 6th century) and God revealed the Quran to him making him the final prophet to correct the beliefs that had went against what Jesus taught. O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul [created at a command] from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, Three; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs. [Quran 4:171] They have certainly disbelieved who say, Allah is the third of three. And there is no god except one God. And if they do not desist from what they are saying, there will surely afflict the disbelievers among them a painful punishment. [Quran 5:73] Many Jews and Christians were awaiting a prophet in the early 600s. Abdullah ibn Sulaim was a top Rabbi in Medinah who recognized and accepted Muhammad (s) as The Prophet the Jews were awaiting. Salman the Persian was a great Christian Scholar who was told by his last teacher that there are no more priests I know of upon the truth anymore and was advised to travel to Medinah to await the prophet who would come. He recognized the city from scripture and a few years later the Prophet Muhammad (s) came and Salman recognized him and accepted Islam. I will quickly note that the same distancing from the true religion and the additions of man is the cause of errancy in modern Christianity. In the West people have detached from religion and towards Secularism and Atheism due to the failures of the Catholic Church that started (for most) during the Renaissance and the failure to be compatible with science. Islam has never had that problem or any contradiction with science, and the Renaissance began in Italy because they traded with the Islamic state and the Arabs, much of the science that bothered Christian Europe came from Muslims who were thriving in a pre-Colonialism Golden Age of Science without any religious problems. Islam does not believe in separating your daily life and your spiritual or that you must through out thought and logic to be a believer. If we are sincere about following God then we realize there are many religions. The fact that we are born to parents of a certain religion does not make that religion an inherent truth. There is One God and with that there is One True Religion. Islam is that religion, Gods religion. Being Gods one religion since the beginning and for all people it is not private or reserved to just people in the Middle East. There are millions of Muslims in the US, and Muslims in every single country of the world of every single ethnicity that exists! Islam is the fastest growing religion from people like you that read the truth and accept a true relationship with God. In Islam there is no middle man, you pray, cry, repent and converse with God directly - one on one.
