Thank you to everyone who came out and celebrated Australia day with us yesterday by participating in either the Sportsman Challenge or Pie Eating Calcutta! Everyone dug deep & together we raised a whopping $6,077.60!!! *BIG CHEER FOR BLACKALL* The unique Australian spirit has shone through again! We had 80 contestants out in force participating in the Sportsman of the Year Challenge. The days highest point scorers were: Junior Female Sportsman - Hayley Callow, Junior Male Sportsman - Jayden Bird, Senior Sportswoman - Liz Harvey & Senior Sportsman - Jack Polich. The Winning Team was STAN THE MAN with a total of 98 points closely followed by JAKE & HIS LITTLE SNAKE with a total of 96 points! The BEST DRESSED TEAM was awarded to THE BIG GIRLS & THE BUSHRANGERS who were dressed from head to toe in Australian Gear! The Winner of the Pie Eating Calcutta was Gavin Weymss who smashed down his pies & beers in record timing! Photos are up so check them out!!
