The Hon Minister of finance Mr Chinamasa during his 2014 National Budget presentation mantioned the move to change mobile money transactions a $0.05 levy. Whats yr take on this1, given that program for example Ecocash and Ecosave is mainly helping banking the unbanked Zimbabweans, majority of whom are our relatives in the marginalised rural areas where there are no banks. That $0.05 charge was directly passed on to the final consumer, a justifiable move nwy for e service provider. My qn bein isnt this further taxation of the poor, who hapens to be the main users of the service? Remember 70% of Zimbabwean populatn is rural.
