The Muoyo Imwambo, Queen of Barotseland to be Put to Rest on Monday 17th March 2014, As Zambia is Accused of Ignoring Her Passing Away Her Royal Highness Mulako, The Muoyo Imwambo, Queen of Barotseland will be put to rest on Monday the 17th, according to the Royal program released to local radio Liseli by the Barotse Royal Establishment earlier today. The queen who died at Zambias University Teaching Hospital on 10th March 2014 was the wife to the reigning Litunga King of Barotseland His Royal Majesty Lubosi Imwiko II Meanwhile, in what seems to be Zambias official position, President Michael Sata and his entire government have completely ignored the death of the wife of the Litunga. According to the Zambian Watchdog, there has been no message of condolences to the Litunga and the people of Barotseland from Mr. Sata or anyone in his government, so far on the passing of the Barotse Queen. The Zambian critical website further said it was surprising for Mr. Sata who was normally in the forefront sending messages of condolences even to none entities in society such as musicians, footballers, chiefs, and politicians, not to send his official messages of condolences to the Litunga and His people. Meanwhile, a Lozi patriot has urged, in apparent reference to the article by the Zambia Watchdog on the alleged ignoring of the Litungas funeral, that Zambias silence on it should not bother the people of Barotseland as they no longer share any thing in common with Zambia. To them this loss is nothing, we will equally expect that in future Lusaka will also not impose their state funerals on us in Barotseland lamented Wamu wa Namusunga as he wished for God to wipe away all the Barotse tears, and that the soul of the queen of Barotseland rest in eternal peace.
