The Secret is in the er Im travelling in from a totally different part of commuterville today, having stayed with my best friend last night. Today, I have the unrivalled joy of the Abellio Greater Anglia service. So ... tell me, Greater Anglia - whats so great? Is it your ridiculously tiny-width seats that no-one can sit in properly without getting too familiar with their neighbours lap? Or perhaps its the punctuality of your service, seeing as my 45 minute journey is only running 23 minutes late as we sit and wait (doors open) at Stratford, for some unknown and undisclosed reason. Or could it be the heating that isnt working that makes you Great? Or the fact that your Ticket Inspector is having to walk up the train telling everyone that none of the toilets are in use on this service? Id report you for misrepresentation under the Consumer Protection Act, but youve cleverly put a little get-out clause in your title. The secret is in the er. Because it doesnt take too much to be GreatER. For example, you are arguably Greater than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, or a slap in the face with a wet fish. Although its debatable - truly, it is. My conclusion is therefore that all train operators are as great as each other. Copyright, This is me on the 6:43
