There was a judge, who feared neither God nor man. A widow persistently demanded justice from him in a case. Finally the judge said, Though I neither fear God nor man, I must give this woman justice, lest I become wearied by her. Does a father give his son a stone, rather than bread? Or a snake, rather than fish? A man had guests, but didnt have anything to feed them. So, although it was late (who really visits late at night?), the man went to his neighbors and knocked, saying, Please, give me some food, so I may feed my guests and not be put to shame. But the neighbor replied, Its late and Im already in bed. But the man continued to knock at the door (not a neighbor I want. But then, he had rude friends who came over in the middle of the night). So the neighbor pulled himself out of bed, lest the man continue knocking and jack all his sleep. But your Father in heaven knows what you need. And He knows how to give good gifts. Pray without ceasing. If your troubles arent enough for you to pester God about, theyre not enough for you to worry about. But if your heart is troubled, pray to your Heavenly Father. And believe.
