This handsome guy is Rudy. Rudy has been at the Oak Ridge Animal Shelter for several weeks. The volunteers and staff have fallen in love with him because he is such a sweet and loving boy. But alas, no one had stepped up to provide a home where this deserving dog could find the security and stability he so desperately craved. Enter my FB friend Danny Phillips. Danny has been watching Rudy on our page and had become very concerned about him. He wanted him but there were several hurdles that would have to be overcome for him to adopt Rudy. One by one those hurdles have been handled and Danny is ready to adopt. However, one more thing popped up this morning when Danny found out Rudy is heart worm positive. Treatment will cost $500 minimum. This is a financial constraint and Danny has already invested quite a bit in some extensive tests at his vet. I am trying to help raise funds to help Rudy get the treatment he needs to be a happy, healthy dog ready for a furever life with Danny. If you can help please send me a PM. Thank you!
