This is REALLY SAD! I am so glad that man didnt make me! I am equally glad that my relationship with God is PERSONAL, NOT with God and Man that stands in the pulpit. Whatever tithes this lady paid or didnt pay is between her and God! This old traditional SOUTHERN BAPTIST CRAP is the reason people dont join churches or go to church. In this case this woman was 90 plus years old and Im sure at some point she gave to this church. Each situation is different but in this situation and under these circumstances this is so sad! Im definitely not saying because someone joins a church and have not been active or was never active should expect the red carpet to be rolled out upon there demise just because they were on the church roster, nevertheless I think in this situation its really sad and wrong. She was a active member for over 50 years and 93 years old, goodness! The congregation should be ashamed and appalled! SMH!
