This is a great picture of the good samaritan refusing to just ignore the peril of the defenseless hawk, caught in the grip of its murderer, a snake wrapped around him to kill him if no one interferes. He could have just walked on and not cared. Instead, he stops, risks his own life, to free the bird from the grip of the enemy of its life. In the end, the hawk is rescued by someone who was bigger and unwilling to ignore a deadly enemy killing its victim. Made me think of the approximately 40,000 innocent lambs dying at the hands of the vicious and evil wolves feeding on their helplessness in Iraq. America has the power to do something to save the lives of the innocent. It is our time to stand up and care, just as our parents did when Nazi Germany trampled all over the innocents of their time. Golfing and pretending nothing is going on that concerns us wont cut it. As Christians, we have an obligation to care...
