Update on PD Koda from the senior treating vet. Koda has gained more fans in the past 24 hours than any cop has in an entire career span :-) Police Dog Koda was released from the vets this morning following treatment for stab wounds received in the line of duty on Sunday. “I think he’s done an amazing job of recovering from his injuries, considering what he had happen to him,” Dr. Mandy Auricht, one of the Senior Vets at Vets4Pet at Golden Grove, told media this morning when Koda was discharged. “He’s very happy, he’s not in pain,” she added. “We’re very pleased with him and we’re able to discharge him from hospital. He’ll be coming back for re-visits tomorrow and the following day so we can monitor his progress. “I do think he’ll make a full recovery. I think he’s an amazing dog – he’s so easy for us to handle.”
