Update on my week: (cuz I KNOW you are dying to know LOL): Jeffs dad died on Tuesday, was cremated and buried and Jeff is now on the road to Texas. He should be home late tomorrow night. Nick is now completely bald. We had to resort to shaving it all off as it was all over the house, sheets, etc. He has had severe leg/knee pain for the past several days, waking up in the night in tears. Drs. took an xray that didnt show a break or any kind of hairline fracture. Pain continued even with Tylenol (only thing he can take). Drs. Friday focus discussion came up with possibility of Osgood Schlatters with which I am familiar since Ashley suffered from it during gymnastics. Bought the knee band but it doesnt work since his legs are too skinny. So... just trying to stay on top of it with Tylenol, ice packs and elevation. Officially put him on full time homebound and had an hour plus long 504 meeting with HHSS staff. Sad he wont be in school but looking at the bigger picture. Ashley came home for a surprise visit and we went with her friend Catherine to see the movie The Best of Me (Highly recommend it, but take tissues) while Noah spent the night and did his trick or treating with his friend Troy. Was invited to the Tracy Lawrence concert by Friends for Hope and Vannie E. Cook Jr. Childrens Cancer & Hematology Clinic tonight but had to decline as I have a teen who doesnt want to be out in public much (unless it is to eat Mexican food which he cant seem to get enough of). Bring back NORMAL! HAHAHA
