Very sad to hear about the passing of Anne Rau. Twenty years ago when I was a blossoming agent, she was a pioneer of sorts as a very successful woman real estate agent. She gave me tips and counseled me as I learned. Always encouraging, she knew what it meant to pay it forward. Michael came a few years later and conflict set in my gut. I didnt want to leave my baby for work, even though I was feeling great satisfaction & I loved the people. Ill never forget her words to me as I shared with her. She said, Laura, you can have it all. You just cant have it all at one time. Go be with your baby. You can always come back to real estate. That advice confirmed what Jeff and I were feeling. I left to stay home with Michael and what would be a whirlwind three more children within 5 years. Im incredibly grateful to her for sharing that wisdom. It was the right advice for me. My condolences to her family.
