WOULD YOU RUN, HIDE or FIGHT…..If faced with “AN ACTIVE SHOOTER?” This morning I attended a presentation by Stephen Daniel, Senior Community Liaison, Public Affairs, Houston Police Department. The topic was ‘Surviving An Active Shooter.’ It was a very beneficial couple of hours and even possibly one day could be a life saver learning that there is something we can do should we find ourselves in an unfortunate situation facing an active shooter, i.e. at a school, mall, or wherever some crazy has decided to start shooting. The bottom line Mr. Daniel’s presented again and again was the need for every person to start developing their own survival mind set wherever you live, work what you will do and what you will not do if you are faced with ‘an active shooter.’ I listened and watched real life situations where individuals in these situations did nothing and were killed. WATCH THIS VIDEO---IT MAY JUST SAVE YOUR LIFE!
