*** WWE Raw 07/14/14 Results *** * John Cena comes out to open Raw and talks about his Fatal 4 Way Match at Battleground, saying that he may no longer be champ as he may lose the title without getting pinned. Roman Reigns comes out through the crowd to face Cena in the ring. Cena talks about how Reigns got screwed over by the Authority and says that they can beat the Authority tonight, and deal with their problems, then fight one on one. Reigns says that’s a good idea. Dean Ambrose cuts them off and tells them to stop. He says they aren’t dancing tonight, they are fighting, and The Authority comes prepared but he has his own plan. He says it starts by kicking some asses. Kane and Rollins suddenly appears behind him. Randy Orton runs in to complete the ambush. They beat down on Ambrose and whip him into a loading bay door before Rollins throws him into a wall and Kane chokeslams him. Ambrose laughs and asks if that’s all they got, so Rollins climbs onto a crate and Curb Stomps him before they leave. * The Miz defeated Sheamus in a non-title match. Big win for the Miz who dodged a Brouge Kick and then rolled Sheamus up for the upset in a good match. * Backstage, Randy Orton, Kane and Seth Rollins brag about what they did to Dean Ambrose, then Kane and Orton argue over trusting each other. Kane says he can take the title from him, or he can have Orton’s back, as long as Orton has his. Triple H walks in and says they will trust each other and get the job done, and he trusts them, so they need to start trusting each other tonight. Stephanie walks in and says he is powerful and she trusts him, then kisses him. * Dolph Ziggler beat Fandango after Layla and Summer Rae danced on the announce table causing distraction to Fandango. Ziggler then hits a drop kick followed by a Fameasser for the win. After the match, Layla and Summer Rae get in the ring and danced around Dolph Ziggler Ziggler gets a kiss on each cheek from the 2 divas. Fandango looks on in disgust in the corner. * The Usos make their way to the ring, but they are attacked from behind by Rowan and Harper. Rowan tosses Jimmy Uso into the ring post. Harper charges and boots Jimmy over the barricade into the crowd. Rowan and Harper now get in the ring with Jey Uso. Rowan and Harper hit their double team slam to Jey in the middle of the ring. Rowan and Harper leave as The Usos are left laying around the ring. * Michael Cole hosts a debate between Rusev and Lana, and Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter. Lana runs the crowd down and calls them all stupid. She screams at them to shut up, and she continues to mock them before Zeb says she is a visitor in the country and he’s not taking this. Zeb says he won’t let them badmouth his country, so he refuses to apologize for defending their country and wants to know when they fight. Lana continues to run down the United States so Zeb says Rusev should stop hiding behind his woman, then Rusev cuts a promo in Russian before saying ‘this means war!” Zeb mocks her and says he knows who wears the pants, then Lana slaps him in the face and Rusev goes after Swagger. He runs in and gets tackled by Swagger, then Rusev splashes him and goes for the Accolade but Swagger puts him in the Patriot Lock until Rusev runs away. * Alberto Del Rio defeated Rob Van Dam via submission in a good match. RVD goes for the 5 star frog splash late in the match but del Rio got his knees up to counter it. Del Rio then locks the Cross-Arm Breaker to make RVD tap out. * Alicia Fox and Cameron beat Nikki Bella in a 2 on 1 handicap match. Alicia got the win after tripping Nikki from the top rope and hits her with a modified DDT for the 3 count. * Big E(w/ Kofi Kingston) defeated Cesaro. Physical match which saw Cesaro tried to use a chair late in the match, but Kofi stopped him from doing so. Cesaro would turn around and get nailed by a Big Ending from Big E giving the latter the victory. * Chris Jericho comes out and says he’s seen it all here in WWE, but Bray Wyatt is an anomaly and wants to know why Bray is targeting him. He says they can get crazy at Battleground, then Bray cuts him off. Bray says people with small minds get beat down and they transform. Bray says he remembers when Jericho says he would save them, but he’s been to war with great men. Then he asks if Jericho is afraid of the dark. He blows out the lantern, then the lights go out and Jericho is surrounded by Harper and Rowan, so Jericho tries to fight them off, but changes course and retreats. Jericho backs away but Bray runs out and clotheslines him on the stage, then he picks him up and hits Sister Abigail before leaving. * AJ Lee defeated Eva Marie via submission with the Black Widow. * Bo Dallas beat The Great Khali via countout in a short match, after Bo hit the Bo-Dog on Khali on the floor. * John Cena and Roman Reigns beat Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, and Kane in a 2 on 3 handicap match via disqualication. Solid main event match which saw the DQ came when Kane refused to get out of the ring after being tagged out. After the bell, Kane and Orton pounds on Reigns until Cena came in and tosses Kane to the outside. Orton grabs Cena, but Cena tosses Orton onto the apron. Kane tries to hit Cena, but Cena moves and Kane decks Orton. Cena lands hard right hands to Kane. Cena tries to AA Kane, but Kane fights out. Reigns tries to spear Orton, but Orton moves and Reigns spears Cena. Orton comes out of nowhere and hits an RKO on Kane. Orton celebrates, but turns around into a spear from Roman Reigns. Reigns stands over all the fallen bodies and celebrates with the WWE Universe as Raw goes off the air. *******************************
