Warning: some swearing. An electroacoustic break-up piece I made after getting dumped by my girlfriend just before my 24th birthday. Its based on text - a couple of phrases spoken by me and recorded on cassette, then copied and manipulated on a rented Tascam 244. I went back & forth a few times and just played (electro-acoustically speaking). I added an ambient backwards synth track or two and finished the piece over the next few weeks. Obviously, I wasnt in the best of moods when I started the piece, but making it was very cathartic for me. It is supposed to be humorous; anyway, I think its funny. The photos and art took many hours to gather and manipulate in an old scanning program. They basically outline my whole life from a kid to a few years ago. I think it took me about six months to put the whole video together.
