We all remember that moment back in 2009, when Kanye West jumped onstage at the MTV Video Music Awards, grabbed the microphone from Taylor Swift, and launched into a monologue. It was perhaps the most public example of the manterruption – that is, a man interrupting a woman while she’s trying to speak.
