We love doing shout outs lol Jean Richardson Perkins Bruce Hood ....just wanted you to know that I love you. Motherbear you did such a phenomenal job in that pulpit this evening and Im so proud of you and happy for you; on so many accounts. First, as a woman standing and delivering such a stron g word to the congregation; especially, when the idea of a woman pastoring and preaching was almost unheard of. Secondly, as a Mother: youve always preached the word to us and I dont even think you even fully understood at the time, all about the goodness of The Lord, but you just knew there was something good about him and thats the direction you wanted to take your life and introduce to your children. Everything you taught us was/is biblical. There was substance; there was honor; there was integrity; there was humbleness; and for whatever and if whatever we lacked in material things I knew that the core of me was still alright because of the foundation that you laid, under the obedience to God. And now, I think about Aaaaall we have been through and I understand your praise. I understand the sacrifices. I understand the urgency. I understand your passions. I understand your worries. I get it now. I love you for being a rock and for being so strong. I love you for always giving everything your absolute best.. I love and honor you for your commitment. Thats why when you preached this evening it was so phenomenal. I think about the prayers and the covering thats been over our lives. Even in running away from God. And today in church Im sitting alongside my brother who is giving God praise. Who was happy to be in the house of The Lord; it just melted my heart. The greatest lesson that you taught me was to trust in The Lord. Now your stories/experiences are becoming my own and my relationship with Christ is stronger because I have my own relationship and understanding. In the most darkest times hes the one Ive always known to lean on. A family that prays together...stays together. We may never have the best way of showing love and gratitude...things may have been bad....BUT ITS STILL GOOD!!! Great job again Motherbear. We love you ❤️❤️!!!!
