Well, its been 24 hours since we left the nursing home and we are all still alive. Of course wed be doing better if all the supplies and equipment were here- hope that more suction kits will arrive today (somehow I dont think telling my kid, literally, to suck it up buttercup will work!). Our backs are OK, but dont know how much longer if Group Health doesnt get off their duffs and approve the sit to stand - until we get that we are doing all the transfers manually and da boy is NO lightweight! Im getting better at doing the meds - wish calcium came in liquid and well talk to our doc about liquid forms of his other meds - I havent clogged a feed line YET....
