Well, my day has started off terribly! I just saw Frank, our foster kitty, come so close to getting hit by a car (speeding down our cul-de-sac) that I literally screamed. All of the neighbors, and my hubby, came running out thinking I was hurt. It is my WORST nightmare when it comes to Frank. The guy only slammed on brakes because of my scream. Frank barely made it out alive! This is the second time I have saved him from a car. The first time he was almost backed over by his own family! Obviously, Frank doesn’t, or didn’t have much fear of giant autos. We have tried everything to keep him inside permanently (he sleeps inside every night). But if he doesn’t sneak out, he causes a such a stink that we let him outside. He mostly stays in our yard, but as of late he has taken to spending time across the street at our neighbor’s yard...which lead to the near death experience this morning. Just so everyone knows, we ended up fostering Frank because his family, our neighbors, moved away and abandoned him!!!! We just could not let him go hungry or without a warm place to sleep.
