Well my friends, we bucked 22 head over about 45 minutes at the Horse Palace on Saturday, 20 buck-offs and 2 qualified rides. The horses they bucked real nice, they were all rideable Id say, but we are starting a new season at the Horse Palace for the winter series and every bodies just getting to know new equipment and generally learning how to ride broncs, by the time the finals rolls around in April these kid will be spurring these kind of horses. These are nice kids, mostly High School and some College boys coming in to get some practice, its also a nice place to visit and meet guys who will be riding against you if you continue to ride in this part of the country. Darrel Four Bears brought over three real nice broncs, all three jump and kicked over their heads and bucked off some kids who have been winning here at the palace, sure appriciate his help and hope to continue working with him threw out the season. My old buckskin mare that I recently baught in Las Vegas really turned it on, Only problem was the kid spurred her in the chute and she reared up and squatted alittle before the kid nodded, but he took her any, she bailed out, kicked for the rafters, dropped and kicked even higher and bucked the kid off, I think I got my monies worth on her, hopping shell drop a nice colt in the spring. It was a great week-end, with a little shopping, but missed the Chase Hawks rough Stock Rodeo, as we had to haul horses home.
