Well the day has arrived that I have been dreading for the last 4 years..........ny beautiful foster boy is leaving me to go and live with his forever family. Feeling numb is an understatement as he is such a special little boy and been such a massive part of my life, my daughters and friends and family that have had the pleasure of meeting him. His disability has never got him down and his determination and strength have helped him overcome so much in his little life. My friend told me recently that if you love someone, let them go, and this is what I am doing albeit with a heavy heart. I know my heart will be broken, but I know that Emma and I gave given him a great start in life and his new mummy and daddy are wonderful people who will love him unconditionally. Just know one thing little man, I loved you the minute you arrived here and have loved you more every day. Despite the difficulties we have encountered along the way, I would never have given up on you. I love you to the stars and back, and hope the angels will be watching over you every day my darling❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ New beginnings for both of us ahead. Time to finish on a high and resign as a foster carer knowing that I have helped several children and young people with their journey in life xx
