Well, we finished shearing this afternoon. All in all, we did 77 sheep. We did not do the seven oldest because the shearing experience is too hard on them. We will do a couple a week or month with scissors until they are done. We dont need their fleeces anyway, with 77 others, so the oldest girls (and one wether) do not have to go through a traumatic experience. As usual, we had help from several volunteers, each of whom did a yeomans job. We are grateful to everyone who came to help. Thanks to all of you. Now we have to decide which ones to keep to sell and which ones to send off to be processed into roving. Decisions, decisions!
