Wes Anderson, director of Rushmore, Royal Tennenbaums, and Moonrise Kingdom returns with The Grand Budapest Hotel. My review. Andersons latest focuses on M. Gustave (Ralph Fiennes), the legendary concierge of the Grand Budapest Hotel where he takes a young lobby boy named Zero (Tony Revolori) under his wing. When Gustave is accused of murdering the wealthy Madame D. (Tilda Swinton), they go on an adventure. The film is filled with many of the actors in previous Anderson films. The full supporting cast includes Saoirse Ronan, F. Murray Abraham, Jude Law, Jeff Goldblum, Adrian Brody, Willem Dafoe, Bill Murray, Jason Schwartzman, Tom Wilkinson, Owen Wilson, Bob Balaban, Harvey Keitel, and Edward Norton. If you like Andersons previous work this is for you. Its a fun, silly film with Fiennes showing his comedic ability. My Rating: B.
