West Virginia: Right-to-Carry Reciprocity Expands to Colorado and Georgia Today, West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey (R) announced that West Virginia has entered into full concealed handgun reciprocity agreements with both Colorado and Georgia. West Virginia residents with a valid concealed handgun license (CHL) may now legally carry a concealed handgun for self-defense in both states. Also, new Alabama law now allows West Virginia residents with a valid concealed handgun license to carry concealed in the Cotton State. This official agreement with Georgia and Colorado marks the 26th and 27th states with which West Virginia CHL holders have full reciprocal agreements. Please note, permit holders must comply with the laws that apply in every state they are traveling. For a complete listing of states that recognize West Virginia CHLs, click here.
