Whats New Worship is proud to announce that the worship for our Mentor Day Sunday Dec. 1 will be recording artist Marie Miller! Service will start at 10 am with Guest Speaker Jw football coach Mark McHale! You can currently hear her on our Local Christian Stations! Her self-titled indie debut EP was released in 2005 which labeled her as one of the best independent artists that you should know about. Christianitytodays Top 10 CDs included the EP in their Top 10 CDs. The awareness led to Curb Records signing Miller in September 2006. Miller released the song Cold in January 2007 and it was picked up on Contemporary Christian music radio stations in the United States. The song hit the Contemporary Christian charts in 2007 and it remained on the charts for four months. She release the single Youre Not Alone on January 8, 2013. It was written as a battle cry for a friend who was going through a really tough time, and he felt incredibly alone. I wanted to fight for him and somehow take away his loneliness. Marie plays mandolin, guitar, piano and says her music simply represents the stories of her everyday life. Maries single debuted inside the top 50 of iTunes Top Singer/Songwriter Songs chart
