Whilst highly commending Gareth Morgan in his genuine attempt to breath life into a dead mule, the sheer reality of 175 years of colonial theft and racism of Maori property and cultural identity is too big and gone on for far too long, for any solution to be successfully applied within New Zealand. Between 1840 and 1860, Maoridom were making big $$$$ in trade and commerce. It was the golden age. However, the greedy and wicked private business owners colluded with their religious mates to make up a hoax that Maori were rebelling against Queen Victoria thereby breaking the Treaty. And what was the colonial punishment for this lie? Maoridom lost over 61 million acres of ancestral land. Maoridom lost all their tribal savings when the Bank of New Zealand was formed. Maoridom lost all their trading fleets of sailing ships. Maoridom lost their traditional waka fleets that were burned by the invading colonial forces. Maoridom lost their natural wealth. The list of the acts of colonial genocide imposed upon Maoridom is so long that most of the bad bits have been deliberately ignored by New Zealands aging academic historian-apologists; superficially skimming over the more sordid details of our ugly colonial past; and it is very ugly indeed folks. So the point being made, is how can the Treaty of Waitangi work post-2015 when it ceased to work in 1860? its doesnt make sense let alone be described as constituting any form of modern common-sense. Indeed, the unprovoked 1860-1880 colonial invasions did not make sense then, just as the inter-generational ramifications of this rampant Protestant-Catholic demonic genocidal colonisation program does not make sense in this day and age. And at the end of the day, the simple examination of the concrete facts overwhelming indicate that the Treaty of Waitangi is a failure in comparison to what was actually written and what was guaranteed and followed through for the two golden decades after the signing in 1840, and what was eventually lost. I also make mention of the Treaty aristocratic class of Maori leader who have taken the miserable Treaty settlement 2% recompense from what was stolen and spent it all on themselves and their relatives. Mimicking the Pakeha officials who control every aspect of the negotiation process; the thief determining the thiefs own trial for theft (oh yeah that really works folks); that leaves too many smaller-ancestral Hapu missing out to their richer-greedier Iwi-hybrid rivals; a divide and conquer framework implemented by successive governments looking at taking short cuts to pander to their racist electorate populations. What a joke. I mean look at Hone Harawira- prostituting himself to Kim Dotcom at the expense of flax roots Maori who support Sue Bradford. I mean look at Metiria Turei buying the most expensive clothes from the most expensive shops while preaching on about poverty under a National Party government. I mean look at the rich corporate entities that the Labour Maori MPs front for and how they leave their people to the mercy of WINZ. I mean look at Tariana Turia and Pita Sharples, and the hundreds of millions of dollars they have received over six years at the table to make a difference, and compare that with the statistics. Its a scam. I mean look how much free $$$$ Donna Hall and Annette Sykes have made from the Treaty gravy train. But for me, the most telling factor to discern for flax root voters is how f fat they all get when they get into Parliament or get shoulder-tapped for a government funded job. They all get huge like a beach ball. Why? its because they eat rich and delicate food that the majority of Maori whanau can only dream of and while they gorge themselves at the pig trough, stuffing their gobs with luxurious dining, our tamariki and mokopuna miss out on important food groups. This is the reality of destroying an indigenous culture in Aotearoa, the same way our indigenous kin in the Americas and Canada and Europe and Australia were destroyed and stripped of all dignity and resources to feed-house ourselves...Karoe. The Treaty of Waitangi has failed to be honoured by both sides since 1860 and to suggest that the Treaty articles still holds relevance after the foreshore and seabed and takutai moana raupatu of 2004 and 2011 is the same as saying that there is absolutely no racism or corruption in New Zealand; we are pure; as white as the snow. Its all rubbish and is not how history paints us out to be, the facts are much different than the rhetoric applied. Hence why the Treaty needs to be taken to the UNDRIP for the international community to determine which is the authentic treaty- the Maori British Protectorate version that was originally signed or the Pakeha Treaty of Cessation version that was mistranslated yet established as the bona fide version. I can tell you now folks, this is incorrect and this deception surely rates up there with the same scam the Pakeha applied to their own people in 1984 as rogernomics is the same model applied in 1860 but in a different era. Wake up. You are living a lie.
