Yesterday over 50 horses were loaned to the International Tetrathlon competitors by our wonderfully generous WA Equestrian community. The final day of competition was so exciting with a beautiful Aussie themed course designed by Fred Freeman. The Loan Horse owners were given a chance to show of their horses (and their own) show jump prowess around the course giving allocated riders a chance to study their mounts. It was a tough ask for competitors to have 20 minutes warm up over 5 jumps on a horse they had never ridden before but the display of jumping was a credit to both the riding ability of the competitors and the talent of the horses on loan. Thank you to all of our loan horse owners for making the effort to support this event. It was a wonderfully social day meeting and greeting young athletes and their families from around the world.
