Yesterday while the leadership of the church was praying with a sister who has been under attack and affliction for a space of time, the Lord put in my heart quite a different understanding of the Blood of Jesus. That Blood did not just touch the earth to curse it but to bless it and to redeem forever all that is in it, for “The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein,” - Psalm 24:1. The voice that spoke from that blood shouted: “Father, forgive them for they know what they have done.” And when He had committed His Spirit unto the Father, the blood spoke in the form of an earthquake, i.e. an earth shaking, so that the soldiers who did the odd job of slaying the Savior cried out in utmost amazement, “Surely, this was the Son of God.” And I tell you there will come such a powerful and fearful shaking that even the most damned of the sons of men will cry out, “Surely, this is the Son of God.” None of the things written in the Word will fail. Go ahead and review your theology and understand scriptures properly and what is meant by the saying, “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father,” - Philippians 2:9-11 (NKJV). Note the phrases, “every knee should bow” and “every tongue should confess.” “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation,” Romans 10:10. That’s simply what it means. Recently, my nephew shared an experience with and said while he was lying out in the veranda sleeping he saw a man coming straight to him and asking him: “Do you know why the blood was shed from the foundation of the earth before ever there came the fall of man?” “No,” he answered. “The reason is that there is no level of man’s fall that exceeds where man fell and which the Lamb’s blood cannot atone for.” The Blood of Jesus is a project, a divine project that carries within it the fullness of the Father’s love for humanity. When the Blood touched the earth, humanity in its entirety was touched by the love of God. When the Blood cleanses from all transgressions the Father’s love is manifestly at work. The Blood of Jesus never exacts vengeance; it cries always for mercy, forgiveness and blessing. That is why it is written that this Blood of sprinkling better things than the blood of Abel, - Hebrews 12:24.
