income inequality is a hot topic lately with folks having strong feelings and legislation threatened. Al Mohler makes the point that if government wants to address income inequality the most effective course would be to address marriage inequality. The numbers relating to poverty and marriage are startling. Another source states the best way to stay out of jail is to get at least a high school diploma, get a job and keep it, get married and stay married and remain faithful to you spouse. I know it is much easier for kids from stable families to achieve that stability themselves (though they dont always) but kids from unstable families dont have to be locked into the pattern. As a churchman, I also know faith and obedience to Jesus positively addresses all of the above. Next Sunday is a day we call Friend Day at Harmony Fwb Church please accept my invitation as your friend and come by at 10:30 am. You will have a good time and it could lead to a positive change for you and your family. If you are not close enough to join us I encourage you to find a Bible believing and teaching church (not quite as easy as it sounds) and attend there.
