A leading global organization, seek to appoint a Supply Chain Manager to be based in Singapore. The successful applicant will be responsible for the development and performance of world class supplier networks through effective supplier management, communication and analysis. RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for Supplier Network performance and adherence to policies and procedures through supplier visitation, consultative interactions/creative problem solving. Perform market analysis and new supplier research. Assist with the selection, management and alignment of Suppliers; recommend recognition, probation, and supplier termination when necessary. Partner with appropriate internal resources to ensure effective start up for new suppliers. Develop and conduct Supplier assessments; coordination of risk and opportunity assessments for all Suppliers. Conduct research, analysis and development / implementation of other projects as assigned. Provide consistent communication to team members and Director regarding supplier measurements and results. Act as Subject Matter Expert of Supplier product within the Company; respond as appropriate to all Account Management and Sales requests, including RFPs, preparation of client ready and marketing materials. Plan, coordinate, participate in all supplier events. Develop and conduct all Supplier internal / external training/education. Assist in contract negotiations with new/existing suppliers.
