After discussions with a couple of young people on my program - TopicsExpress

After discussions with a couple of young people on my program these past few weeks, Ive got to get this out there.... Your capacity to learn doesnt stop when you hit a certain age. We are born knowing nothing, a blank canvass which has to learn everything. As children we have such a thirst to learn.. how to walk/run/eat/touch/ride... the world is so exciting and we rush at it to learn about it with vigour and enthusiasm. SO, when is it that we stop being so open to taking in new things, and decide that my learning stage is over.. 15? 20?? Our human brain is barely scratching the surface of its potential, and yet, some people tell themselves I couldnt possibly learn anything else!!!!!!! as if to say, my brain cup is full.. no more info please. This sermon comes from hearing too many times lately from young people ... oh, I cant do that... I dont know how.... Or, even more irritating .. Im not even going to try because I dont know how... That mentality drives me nuts. Learning and evolving never stops, you just need to be open to the possibility that you could potentially do it and give yourself the chance. The only person holding you back.. is YOU. Amen.
