Hello everyone! I made one of these profiles about a month ago but I realized I had to do it again since a lot of people recently joined to the group. I’m Toros from Toronto and I’m going to be studying Science next year to further specialize in Life Science/Neuroscience to become a Neurosurgeon in the future. I’m a very active person who plays tennis, golf, basketball and rugby. As a special interest, I enjoy scuba diving, love camping and dive at unknown places. I also workout 6 days a week so we’ll be seeing each other at the gym quite frequently. I am a lead singer and guitar player of a band right now and I’m planning to make an alternative/indie/experimental rock band at Queen’s since I’ll have to quit my band. I listen to a lot of different genres, however I’m very into rock, blues and jazz. To name a few: Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, The Beatles, Yes, Rolling Stone, Deep Purple and the Doors (as oldies). Muse, The Killers, Radiohead, Coldplay, John Mayer RHCP, Black Keys, Queen, and Nine-inch nails (relatively more recent ones). I used to enjoy directing short movies and that’s why I’ve watched a lot movies from great directors. I can’t really give only a couple of movie names as my favourites but Fight Club, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Pulp Fiction, One flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, The Shining, Se7en and LOTR trilogy were pretty spectacular movies for me. I particularly admire the work of Christopher Nolan, Stanley Kubrick, Tarantino and Scorsese since they are phenomenal directors. I also watch Grey’s Anatomy (I might be the only guy watching it), Game of Thrones, House of Cards, Big Bang Theory, Californication, Shameless, Arrow and Suits. I am also deeply missing Dexter, Friends and Breaking Bad. I’m very excited to attend Queen’s after my year off and looking forward meeting you guys.
