In the literature of the Bourgeois- Prolateriat, the gentleman is a part of the landed gentry class. They are the land owners, gentiles, genesis, gentrification- bourgeois. This class is defined by etiquette, courtesy, protocol and politeness. The corresponding half to the gentleman is the lady. The lady signifies class, dignity and sophistication. Gentlemen and ladies attract each other. In the proletariat class, which is the working class or the lower class, the lack of economic opportunity combined with the sheer number of people inhabiting a small space dictates more aggressive, less polite behavior to establish borders and boundaries. Neither class is good or bad because our class is an accident of birth which we do not control. Above the gentleman class is the Aristocracy, the oligarchy, the 1 percenters. There is an entirely different set of rules in that class. The hallmark of the proletariat is meritocracy The hallmark of the LA dedicated gentry is family and class connection. The hallmark of the Aristocracy is money, power and respect. You have to know the rules of each class to navigate properly. If you get your money in a certain class, the rules of that class dictate behavior. If you socialize in a certain class, the rules of the class determine the behavior.
