Mt. Clemens Peregrine Falcon Gathering Saturday, June 21, 2014 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Have you ever wanted to see the Peregrine Falcons in Mount Clemens, but were unsure of where to look for them? Since 2005, Hathor has nested on the Macomb County Building. Horus was her mate from 2005 - 2007 and Nick from 2008 to present. Hathor has produced twenty one young, including the four that are currently being raised on the SE corner of the building, named Hero, COMTEC, Jo and Max. Join Chris Becher, SE Michigan Peregrine Falcon Nesting Coordinator with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and Barb Baldinger, MDNR Volunteer to observe this season’s family of Peregrine Falcons from the gazebo and park across the Clinton River from the nest site. Enter the parking lot from First Street between Crocker Blvd. and Dickinson Street (Note: On the west side of the river Crocker Blvd. is called Cass Ave. and Dickinson Street is called Market Street).
